The past i guess month and a half have just plain sucked. I has a miscarriage that was bad enough, then yesterday i had to put my cat , Snickers, to sleep. He was only a year old. The doctors changed my dad prognosis. They got the results of his 2nd Pathology report back, and took him off Chemotherapy. The tumor he has, has an 80 to 90% survival rate. And is the the kind people live with for years. He'll still go through radiation to shrink the tumor. But its a lot better news ( Read more... )

This is how were learning things now. My dad went and saw the chemotheapist a couple days ago. He asked the doctor how long he had to live, and the doctor told him 2 to 3 years. My dad told us cuz he wanted us to know, not find out after something happened to him. He also said he plans to beat this and still be around to dance with my niece at her ( Read more... )

The results of my dad's biopsy came back today, and he was diagonosed with cancer. The tumor they found in his brain is inoperable so its just radiation and chemo. There is no history of cancer in his side of the family at all, so its a shock. It hasnt even sunk in yet and im not sure when it will. Im almost done bartending school, only 2 days left. Then Monday i have to call for job placement. So hopefully before 2 long bye-bye target.Ive been off for a week already and dont have to go back until Tuesday, and i dont think im gonna want to. Now i can make drinks and stuff at partys and know what im doing. Woo-hoo

Today's my birthday, im the big 22. I havent really done much today besides sleep cuz yesterday i got almost none. I went a good 36 hours without sleep. Yesterday Rob and I hung out for my birthday, he came over a little after 11 and we went down to wildwood. Our first stop was breakfast at 1pm. Mike and I went to see Stars Wars last night. The movie was awesome! I saw a couple of parts that were a bit slow but all together the movie was great. And the acting was alittle stiff, but it was still a great movie. I want to go back and see it a couple of more times before it leaves the theatres. The last half hour was so sad.
