I'm not sure when summer officially ends but it's less than a week till September. I just checked my last entry and realized I hadn't written to say that my Mom's cat was found 8 days after disappearing, it's amazing. I saw a friend I haven't seen in a year yesterday. She's been teaching English in China and it sounds like she's having an amazing time. Well I finally decided re: leaving town, I think so anyway. I got a really cheap fare for early May and will hang around till then. The fare is ridiculously cheap and I'd probably do a pub crawl from Scotland to London and then check out Amsterdam.
