so at this immersive language program, everyone mostly just makes small talk since it's what we've already learned and know well, so the teachers are always asking us mundane things like "what did you do last weekend?" and "does your hometown have many interesting things to do?" and "do you like your college?" whenever a teacher asks me if I like my college I always end up having to explain co-ops to them and why they rule so much... fun stuff.

hahaaa i find myself explaining co-ops to everyone here too when they ask my why the hell i chose to go to college in ohio. i even met some people from ohio today that asked me how i ended up there.

I'm in dining, but haven't heard about housing yet. At the moment Zak W and I have an okay-sounding room in Talcott, so it's not too bad.

i'm supposed to be at busch gardens on the 23rd of july if you want to hang out or something. i have no idea if this makes anything better.

by "supposed to," i mean that if my car compatriots don't back out on me like they've been doing with everything else, i'll be there. and if they do, then i will stuff them inside my mail box. forever.

until the post office man comes and asks them what they're doing, at which point things start to get awkward for me.

i'm better at teleportation, myself. astral projection makes things difficult, because souls are hard to see unless you look hard enough. even then, you gotta know exactly what you're searching for...perception only molds so much, but so much is enough to make the whole world change.

Hey Josie...I was wondering if perhaps you knew anyone with extra tickets for AllGood? A couple friends and I need them don't/can't really pay the extra $35 at the gate. I'm super excited to go, but if we had a way to get in that would be lovely...

P.S. So i guess i'm eating in fairkid, and i don't know where i'm living. it wasn't my first choice, so i don't know that much about it. your thoughts? is it fun?

i dont know anybody with extras, but have you checked out your local record store? ours, plan 9, sells tickets for it. maybe if you look on the allgood website or on jambasetickets, you'll find a ticketcenter near where you are.

fairkid is a cool place to eat, but it's suuuuper strict. last year, they agreed not to buy sugar for cooking with, bananas, and a few other things. you could try getting on a wait list for another co-op...i.e. harkness. but yeahhh fairkid is cool no doubt. i hope you get some allgood tickets, it would be fucking awesome to see you. that kid dan (cosmic dan with the pointy nose...remember him?) is going to be there too. see you sooner or later,
