Do you think that if we die in our sleep we can stay in that dream forever? I mean, i know when we die our bodies die, which means our brains die, so how could we dream? but i really do believe that if we die in our sleep we can just stay constant forever. that our spirits will create another world or realm of some sort if we really want it to. and ( Read more... )

does that mean that if we were having a nightmare, our spirits would create whatever pleasent thought that they could? or would our spirits create a nightmare where we win? i like the latter. XD.

well, what if it was a nightmare? it's possible. i was just assuming it'd be a dream because i was trying to be positive and think about dieing peacefully. but you're right, it could be a nightmare. but for me that wouldn't neccissarily be bad. i'd even enjoy that. i just want adventure. another life after death, full of excitment of some sort. i was just kind of trying to focus on the whole mind over matter thing. to me a nightmare can also be classified as a dream.

Hmm well most of the time our subconscious creates thoughts at aboutaproximatley 200 thoughts per second that make us live "I think therefore i am" most of these thoughts are self generated through muscle memory or just reflex... some people tend to be self destructive though and create a world where theyre constantly losing... maybe those people that always complain about life are the type of people that live in nightmares.. many philosophers believe we live in a dreamworld anyways so yeah... Hmm a nigthare where you win would not be a nightmare... more like an adventure

Hmmm thats a beautiful concept. A dream or a nightmare would both be wonderful to die in. But what if the dream wasn't forever that you woke up and didn't know you were dead. I'm always afraid I'll die and not know I'm dead. Well I probably sound stupid so I'll shut up.

wow. adrienne, that was a freaking awesome ass comment! the best so far. wow, i never thought of that at all. that is a scary concept, to die and not know it. kind of like in the 6th sense or something.ewww, i don't want to wake up from my dead dream. i think if you did you'd just be stuck in blank; nothingness. that's my worst fear. to become nothingness. oooo, creepy. damn it, now you've got me thinking. good one! j/k. i love you. thanks for your comment!
