"blasphemy" is not the word I would use to describe THAT!

I agree with you on many of those points. My take is this: most religions have much in common - the greatest being that they are used to control people.

I hate that.

yes it is blasphemy. it is mocking religios "morality". what word could be better than blasphemy?

Ch-okay. so i think it is more damaging with religion. There is hypocrisy with other people. Ms. farah, Very good point, but I have to say I think it becomes vital to note the damaging effects hypocrisy has for the masses when in religion. However, I see your point that religion can parallel the human line of conduct and thus should be expected. I am still inclined to become greatly disturbed when the society repeats the murmurs of religion without letting time show the hypocrisy within it. I think friends normally see it in other friends after noticing it. Religious followers have plenty of time to realize it. Read my entry tomorrow at work. Enjoy.
