this certainly isn't hell.....i've had too many happy times in my life for this to be hell, and clearly, as if i even need to state it, this cannot be heaven. therefore, this is purgatory. that explains why, for every series of ups, there is an equal or greater series of downs. why i feel like my life is simply a redundant series of tests,

you know- i don't want to sound like an ass in front of your "friends" whoever those people may be, but the way you write about them and the attitudes they have, the inconsiderate way with which they treat you, the unthought-of words that spill from their lips, i don't like the sound of it all- courtney, i know that you are trying to grow as a person and you take much time and effort working on that, but unfortunatly many people, more than i would like to even admit, don't think about those sorts of things- they jsut think about when their next score will be, their homework, their hair, whatever keeps them busy enough and jaded enough to not think intorspectivly- friends are people that are supposed to be there for you, offer kind words when you are down, not shred your hopes like paper hearts when they feel the slightest bit upset with their own lives- friends are not perfect and mess up many times, as you and i both know from experience, but that doesn't mean that in everyday situations the same relentless remarks and actions, that
