They are not kidding calling the September holiday Labor Day, well Labor Day. I worked like a house elf all week.

I managed to take some photos. I wasn’t able to take many at Irish’s because we were just that darn busy or nackered.

So lets start with irishredlassand sabrebabe  rolling into Dallas. Here is the van trailoring the car.

Good to see that Irish is settling in with a little help from friends.

Now all she needs is a cat.

Cat is icing on the cake. =)

But Dexter was adopted, which is good.

The cat will find Irish. =)

I'm glad she had you two to help her. Moving is never any fun, but at least it looks like she's slowly getting settled in.

I'd say after the rug cleaning, she is on the home stretch. It will probably take her a few weeks to finish things.

Aw, look, there you all are! I like the art on the walls. My fave pics are irish and Sabrebabe with the computers and you with the picture frame. 8^) I'm so happy and excited Irish has such a happy new house close to you and so many people in Texas. So happy that it is such a happy home, and you guys helping set it up is like another house blessing that will start it off with bright happy memories! <3 Irish is so cute in the guest bathroom here.

What a lovely way to think of it. Despite poor Irish's trials with the condition, we did haul ass on it. Given most of the big jobs are done, she can putz her way through the rest of it. =)

I managed to install one curtain rod. Deb will do the remaining 3.

Thank you, Droxy and Sabrebabe, for moving Irish and helping her settle in! She's going to be so happy living in Texas. You guys are true friends. And the bestest house-elves!

(glares at the manager who told her that the place "was professionally cleaned" - a refund is called for...)

The manager isnt the issue. The guy doing the non work was. irish tells me he got canned. They will make good on teh cost of cleaning the rug.

I hope she finds Texas to be a great place to live, and moving to Texas is a pay raise for her in terms of less taxes and lower expenses. She's in a very phenominal area for getting stuff quickly.
