someone is givng away a HP DVD set to the winner. i assume its a HP fan art site trying to attract HP artists. good marketing ploy.

Ah. I'm also very unfamiliar with Reddit and how this site relates to the Reddit I hear about in the news from time to time.

Reddit is just a massive time suck. It is called the "Front Page of the Internet" and is a great source for information about a wide variety of things. I see a lot of new events on reddit before they even hit the regular new sites because a redditor happened to be there when it happened and posted about it.

The front page is a conglomeration of all of the 'sub-reddits'. The individual sub-reddits cover a wide range of topics. The r/harrypotter is a for posts about all thing Harry Potter. r/fountainpens is devoted to anything about fountain pens, r/awww is for adorable pictures of mostly cats/dogs/etc... There is a sub-reddit for just about anything you can think of and most things you can't or don't want to think about.

I know what you mean... I have settled into my "social media limit" and cannot handle any more. It never seems to end, you know?
