A year ago yesterday we completed on the purchase of the new house. A year ago tomorrow we moved in. On the day in between, I came down for the day to sort a few things out and receive some deliveries. And I took some photos. Is that slider the news sites use for "then and now" photos available for regular users?

Probably not on LJ, I fear. You can do it with the right combination of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, but I don't think LJ gives you the necessary level of control over your pages.

Ten years on, I look with shock at the photos I took just before moving in here at Toad Woods. Especially the hillside next to the driveway. It's completely overgrown now. I don't remember it so open and bare at all.
