Pre-pandemic, something that Lisa and I did semi-regularly was to go to the Chinese restaurant buffet here in Fernley on Christmas Eve. Our plan today was to go to Carson City to film the Santa Train running on the Nevada State Railroad Museum's track, then go up to Reno to do a lot of Christmas-based grocery shopping.

Yesterday, we started unloading the Pres-to-Logs from the utility trailer. Although Lisa can't use her left arm due to the rotator cuff injury, she did move logs from the pallet to where I could more easily reach them and put them into a wheelbarrow. Because the minivan is parked holding the trailer full of wood, I had to walk to the post office in order to mail a card to my father. This gave me a chance to take pictures of the riddle (and answer) posted on the signs at the North Lyon County Fire Protection District.

On Monday of this week, I went to Big R and paid for a pallet (390 logs) of Pres-to-Logs. As usual, I had give them the SKU and deal with the people who thought we wanted a pack of six logs or a ton of wood pellets, but eventually we got that sorted out. We have a total of three propane bottles: two small seven-gallon bottles and one large 27-gallon one. As of yesterday, Lisa was down to just the last small bottle.
