Another Nigerian scammer just contacted me today on Yahoo Messenger.
I LOVE screwing with these bastards! Hehehe...

(Dateline NBC just broadcast a sting they did called To Catch an ID Thief, in which they tracked down thieves who stole credit card numbers to buy tons of merchandise. It was all run from Nigeria ( Read more... )

If you saw the Dateline NBC report,
Nigerians contacted men and women through dating sites like Match.com,
sent them fake pretty pics, told them they wanted to be with them forever,
asked them to buy tons of Sony Playstations, etc. with stolen credit card numbers, then ship everything to Nigeria.

So these poor Americans were unwitting parts of a credit card fraud scheme. And they had never met their "boyfriend" or "girlfriend."
