Man Collapses at Foosball Tourney Venue
Last weekend, on 7/5, Rod and I went to a big foosball tourney held at one of our usual venues, Cuetopia. As you may guess from the name, Cuetopia is a pool hall so in addition to us foosers, there was a number of ppl playing pool too.

Wow, it's been over a year since my last post.
So last Wednesday it started raining again up here, and you know Californians can be terrible at driving in the rain. Someone wound up rear-ending Kitsune! Criminal or Neighbor?
When I got home tonight, I saw a guy who seemed kind of suspicious, and I wasn't sure if he was trying to break into cars or if he was just a neighbor since it was so dark. Woot Shirts
So I ordered two shirts from shirt.woot.com, a T-shirt company that sells a cute shirt every day (and also some of their older shirts if they are still popular after the Day of Reckoning). Impromptu getogether yesterday. Had a Groupon for The WOW Truck that was about to expire so corralled the troops, hehe. Hooray to Bonny, Du, Alan, and Jenny making it out on short notice. JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge
Finished the 3.5 mile JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in 52:19, meeting my goal time! I may have done more like 3.4 or 3.3 bc there was some route confusion at the very end so I accidentally took a shortcut. But I'd say I was at roughly a 15 minute mile (maybe a little slower) which is an improvement over my 15:26 mile at the Giant Race. I'm ( Read more... ) -

Enjoyed the Giant Race 5K on Saturday. Participated in it with Rod, Binh, Amy, and Amy's brother Donny. Although it was hard waking up so early to make sure we got to SF with plenty of time for parking and figuring out where to go and whatnot, it was worth it. It was pretty fun being active. Was updating apps on my phone yesterday and thought to myself, "Wonder if LJ has an app..." And lo and behold, they do!
Don't think it'll necessarily represent an uptick in posts by me. There are just too many places to post short thoughts like FB, Twitter, and Google+ (although G+ is my least preferred and hardly sees any action from me either).
