I got a haircut today--and the lady cut off like 10 pounds of hair. I wasn't expecting that. My hair was approaching elbow length and now it skims my collarbones. I didn't cry or anything--I don't ever want to be one of those people whose hair is their security blanket type thing, but for a few hours I did feel strangely castrated.

School is awesome. I love it here. It was pretty much the most natural transition ever. Everyone in my hall is a transfer, we were pretty much all in the same situations, and we're all pretty tight at this point.
