Adventures in Transcribing

So as you may or may not know, I am currently in the early stages of Post Production on the Sound Project, which means that for the past week and a half, any free time I have is spent transcribing interviews. Currently I have nine done with about thirteen left to do. Some of them go faster then others. Doing this really makes me appreciate ( Read more... )

Yep. I know what you mean. I've done some transcribing of interviews (some mine, some others) in the past, and it always is somewhat shocking how poorly people tend to speak. It really makes me appreciate those individuals who have the intellectual rigor to speak the way they write.

That shit costs $16.95 not including shipping and handling?! i'll let you poke mine - like in the demonstrative photo - for only 5 bucks (not including shipping and handling).

But seriously, that mousepad is for people who spend as much time as you do on the computer, but for other reasons...like finding Russian brides.
