I know what I'd be doing

So, I don't have kids, nor do I intend on ever having any, so I am mostly out of the loop on what is really going on with kids in general. However, what I gather from the world is that in America, kids are all staying home and playing with their XBox or whatever and not getting any sort of imaginitve play and down time in. I will be 30 this year, and I still secretly want to buy all of the nifty doo-dads Breyer is making---the stall cleaning set, the grooming set, the trailer especially. :D (My Breyer dolls had to make due with Barbie stuff which was a bit too big.) I did have a wooden barn that came from the Penneys catalog, and my cousins gave me a huge doll house my uncle had built when they outgrew it, so my horses and dolls lived in style. :D I still play, but it is acceptable for a grown woman because it's called performance. Hee hee.

I lust for that trailer in a really bad way too!

I had gotten a spam email a few months ago--I saved it, but it was some guy making REALLY nice wood barns--out of hardwood, not pine Unfortunately it appears that GoDaddy.com now has his domain name :( Maybe I'll email this guy because I forget his price points...these were really nice.

And a big OH YES on performance. hee hee.

Jackie, that's awesome. I'm a college student studying elementary education and am really impressed by what this girl did and thinking how I can use that in a classroom.

As a kid I had shows at home for my Breyers and would make my parents or friends judge them. No jumping but there were saddleseat classes. Luckily at 12 I discovered JAH and was at Breyerfest by 13.

Do you mind if I friend you? I saw you comment on Melissa M's journal.
