my friend just got a script for ambien
neither of us have ever done it

ive checked erowid, but it doesnt really say much about it

is there any benefit to blowing it (we like snorting things)?

and anyone have any tips or anything to say to people taking it for the first time?

i took ambien on my flight to europe, for the purpose of passing out and sleeping through the flight. My sleep was interupted part way through, and the rest of the time i felt sick and disoriented. The disorientation wouldn't have been so bad if i didn't feel like i was gonna throw up the entire time. The moral of this story? Ambien should not be taken at 30,000 ft. It seems like in a normal setting it would probably be fun.

Ambien doesn't so much give you a high.... rather than a traditional relaxant type painkiller that drifts you off to sleep with comfy warm waves, Ambien pretty much just gives you sleep. If you ride it out past the initial wave of drowsiness, there's pretty much just a floppy wierdness. If mixed with alcohol, blackouts are relatively common. I've a friend who had a 'script for Ambien, and after a few glasses of wine with some pills, she was known to make long rambly phone calls she'd never remember the next day.

Snorting does work, but doesn't really change the affect much, with the exception of making the effects come on with more expediantly.

what other kinds of pills have u guys snorted? i wanna try snorting some of my rxs but am too scared cause i dont know whats gonna happen. and its hard a sfuck to find info on snorting pills anywhere! lol

um, ive blown coke, caffeine, excedrin (some ass sold it to me as x when i was drunk), vicodin, ambien, ritalin (and dexatrin, adderal...), xanax...i think thats it.
vicodin and caffeine are really thick and take a while to snort and caffeine/excedrin burn like mother fuckers. ambien burns a little but it's not too bad.

Not to be rude, but why the hell would you fuck up your nose snorting caffeine when red bulls are two bucks? Does it really give you any kind of high that's different from drinking a bunch of coffee? Like I said I'm not trying to be a bitch, I'm honestly curious.
