I'd had little luck with cafepress years ago, and my blurb book has had rather piddly sales thus far, but as my mother says "if you throw enough shit, something will stick." I wanted to go to the NYCC. 80% of the people I know in NYC will be there. I don't leave my house for weeks or months at a time, aside from getting food, and the adventure would be nice. But after paying a fraction of my medical bills and medicine and a smattering of food, I've got $46 until I get paid again... which will be in about a month's time ( Read more... )

I've had this idea for a very large painting detailing a scene of inappropriate behavior between myself as a very young child and my teenage step brother. Ideally, I'd have a copy of the letter I was written by that same step brother (pretending such things never existed) standing massive and next to this future painting.
