So women aren't deemed worthy if they are not "crazy punk or metal chicks?" What about girls who have the attitude, but don't feel the musical taste of style of clothing is necessary?

Hmmm, not to speak on Gavin's behalf, but rather my semi-empathetic, semi-sympathetic interpretation of where he's coming from:

Musical taste is a huge determining factor in finding a suitable woman, although not necessarily mandatory. A companion with similar or shared musical tastes provides great support for a musician, as well as minimizes arguments over cd players (I, for one, am one of those assholes that is pretty much intolerable of music I dont like...I could never see myself in a serious relationship with someone who considers Eminem to be a musical genius)

I also believe that there needs to be some physical attraction in a relationship, and lets face it, punk and metal chicks are fucking hot.

Its also difficult to find that attitude around here...most of the female populous in cdale consists of the generic college coed, or just are uninteresting.

I dont think hes being close minded...I think he knows what he likes. Nothing wrong with that at all.
