I found out tonight that Explosions in the Sky will be doing a show in Portland on the 4th of May (a Friday) at the Wonder Ballroom. Last night I went to Kristin's (my old boss) wedding up in Washington with seven other people. I think it was the first wedding I went to since my sister's in Indiana four or five years ago. Not having taken summer classes before I found myself ill prepared to deal with the amount of reading that I would have on the first day, for my ONLY class of this four week session. 60 pages of intermixed political doctrines from various theorists, so you know it takes longer to go through than a regular 60 pages would. Currently, I am the only guy in a wing of 24 teenage girls and one of two guys on a floor of about 50 teenage girls. In the entire building there are about 125 girls, and they ARE ALL atheletes. I keep having a reoccuring dream where I'm with my wife in the delivery room of a hospital and she's having our children right there. Everythings fine until some point when something goes terribly wrong and she dies but the child (always a girl) lives.
