wait. your dad has a bone disease?

yep. It's some rare bone disease and it's like eating away at his hips. The doc said he has about 8 to 10 years to get a hip replacement.

that sucks. really, really sucks. it's not painful, is it?

yeah actually it is. He just called me today and told me he gets a handicap parking pass thing. It's not to the point where he needs a wheelchair yet. He might get the first hip replacement like next year. It costs a lot of money.
