When I got to work yesterday afternoon (I work a day shift once a week, which I hate doing) and my boss comes up to me immediately and starts gushing about how cool Transformers was. I'm so going whale watching this weekend. Who's coming with me?!! That's right. No one is. But that's okay! I'm so excited. I've never seen a whale in my life and it's about time I have! I got off of work tonight and felt rather mopey. Midnight struck and my birthday began. Ivan called me at midnight to tell me he was running late and wouldn't be in town for another couple hours. I figured as much but I was still disappointed.

I use my cell phone for everything. It's my alarm clock, my watch, my datebook, my address book, my calendar, my phonebook and occasionally even my calculator. Today, it broke. *sigh*

I was hired on at the Hotel Vintage Plaza, a Kimpton Hotel, in downtown Portland off of Broadway. It's a fancy-pants 4 diamond hotel and it shows. The hotel is wine themed, well decorated and, obviously, pricey. I will have to dress up every day in black dress pants, black shirt, and black blazer. Ugh. I've never been a fan of dressing up.
