if you wanna get all sylvia-plath and super-cliche about it, then think of it this way: we're all dying, slowly. so if you don't fear dying, you don't fear living.

I never understood the fear of death thing. It's not like people can stop it from happening sooner or later.

maybe they're afraid of an unnatural death, such as being murdered, or dying in a car accident.
yeah, i don't really understand it either.
