So I am finally leaving San Fransisco. I have been here about 2 weeks, and it seems way to long. Headed out on Thursday, should hit Oregon by this weekend. Finally leaving the state is really reasuring. Everyone should look up green porn, it's my new favorite cinematic short!

Shortly I will be leaving my newly created life in Chicago for an extended visit in San Diego. Oddly, I am hoping that this 1,500 trip/distance from home will result in reflection and maybe some motivation. I love life.. why does it not love me back? I plan to leave Chicago soon. Needless to say I failed once again- getting a job, an apartment.... not relying on people more than necessary. I recently left Louisiana. I caught my first frieght train, a CSX grainer. I got arrested in Mobile, Alabama (like the Bob Dylan song) for 3 days in for criminal tresspass. I have been in New Orleans all together a month and a half. It's a gorgeous city now, though not completely back from Katrina. We recently had a tornado, and it was beautiful despite all of it's destruction. There is a very eclectic mix of people here, many of which I've gotten to know and appreciate. So my tire is flat again. I didn't even get a chance to ride it since I got her back from the shop. New tires, new tubes.... and it still goes flat. My only form of transportation, and one of my favorite hobbies, continously lets me down. I guess if I had a life I wouldn't be so heart broke, eh?
