When Frannie Vecchio saves Ante from the pound after LadyShoes is imprisoned (okay, so she sooo deserved to get dropped but Fraser is a Good Guy(YAY!) so he didn’t), Dief thinks he’s died and gone too heaven. But Fraser won’t let him spend time with Ante because he doesn’t want to give Francesca (because he’s a Gentleman and never uses her nickname) the Wrong Idea About his Feelings for her (which she would totally know that he loves Stan but she’s too busy buying skimpy clothes and throwing herself at him to notice ( ... )

Benton Fraser, the mountie in Chicago? Is not the real Benton Fraser. The real Benton Fraser was injured in a tragic accident involving an otter and some radioactive seals, while saving kittens. He is currently undergoing secret rehab in a Weapon X facility.

The current Benton Fraser is a crazed Actor named Geoffrey Tennant, who is only pretending to be a Mountie.

This really isn't for the best. Ray I and/or Ray II do not appreciate the switch.
