A stuffed penguin for Dief and something more for Fraser & Ray, \o/. Perfect!

OMG, I did a little happy dance in my chair when I saw you'd posted fic!

Only in dS could a fic with two major characters getting injured be this adorably sweet. What is that? But oh, I loved it. Thank goodness Fraser got a clue at the end. Great Fraser POV, and such a lovely, wise Ray in this one. While still being Ray, obviously.

"It isn't detrimental, Ray."

"Tell that to my arm," Ray said, but he said it like an automatic reflex before understanding dawned on his face.

&hearts! And the last two paragraphs were utter love.

Probably because you know they'll be all right! Fraser routinely defies the laws of physics, so a sprained paw and a bullet graze shouldn't be big problems for long.

And thank you so much, both for the lovely comment and for the fact that you apparently did a happy dance. :D

My god! Ray is so very, very brave. Thank goodness Fraser stops with his shit.

\o/ This is a wonderful fic; the Fraser POV is absolutely perfect, as is the dialogue. I love how it's both tentative and hopeful.

Dief is definitely my favorite character here, but I love the sad, raspy balance of their relationship. I hope those two crazy kids can work it out.

I think I need to write more Fraser POV, if only so that Dief can have 'dialogue' instead of being a mobile prop. (That: is the real reason I want to write a Young Wizards crossover, not gonna lie.) But I'm sure those crazy kids can work it out! They usually do.

Thanks for the comment, hon. <3
