D&Cs are actually done for a wide variety of reasons, but leaving a dead fetus inside you can lead to infection, sterility and death. But what is one more dead woman? This makes me so angry.

A dear friend once had a D&C for excessive bleeding during periods. I'm sure it was more complicated than "bad periods" but we were in school and I am positive she was a virgin.
