The Mandarin of Life

Have you ever had it at thanks-giving or Easter or when you go to a chinese buffet that you eat and eat until you want to throw up? The food was so good and satisfying, but you had too much at once and now not only do you feel physically ill, but all you want to do is lay down and sleep for 24 hours or so.

Now, apply that theary to my life. Kristen ( Read more... )

I too am sick, its not at all satisfying very much. Breathing of all sucks, I hope you get better though. I'll do some sort of health dance for you. I hope to see you Thursday for your play, and now that I hear about it, your birthday. Only 18, lol that was a time and a half ago for me.

i dont think i really understand. im like a chronic underachiever... i dont think i've ever done homework, except projects due the next day (or in rare cases in a couple days). i have studied only ever for exams. and one can scarcely call what i do studying. in cadets i did exactly the number of badges required to get each year's stripe. i used to be in the chess club (of which, naturally, i was champion) but they got rid of it. how sad. oh well. lol. the real message for my post is this ( ... )

At Elim we went fishing and at first I would only skim my worm in the water because I didn't want to kill the fishie, and then I was like DIE FISHIES DIE! And then we ate them. I also water skiied and slalom (or whatever skiied) and we made spectacles of ourselves. I probably say more in my post. Elim rocks my socks. That was my first time ever in a boat though. That was scary. Until it wasn't.

I was the Calvanette/ Gems rebel. (Meaning that I didn't do the crafts the way they wanted because I'm a creative person and I once snuck out the window.) I have all the badges I did in the first year, the badges we did as a group, and none other. I only started overacheiving like, this year.

I went to the doctor today. He gave me medicine. PS. I'm sorry if you don't care, but I do.

i was a cadet rebel. always, always the counsellors tried to convince me to do badges, and always i did them all in the very last week. i'm proud that i went to a camporee once. thats pretty impressive considering my track record. one time, before j dykstra died, we ran away and hid in the cornfields (wellandport is a farming community indeed...) and matt janssen and i ran away from a log-cutting and a brick-laying. wow. i really was a bad kid, thinking back on it now. i talked during the opening all the time and had to skip the Bible lessons to practice standing straight which was fine because the lessons were elementary anyways. and ive talked enough

I hid in my mom's car. I quit in grade 8. I can't believe my mommy actually let me.
