Oh, there was a lot in this ep. Feel free to go catch up on all the stuff you missed while flailing at my journal. You have an open invitation. *nods* And now I need food.

I finally settled down enough to have some coherent thought about the rest, but I keep sliding back to the shallow end. It's fun :-)

Was there anything else in this ep?

I think you got the important parts. ;)

Sometimes one simply must wallow in the shallows ;-)

And how sad is it that the two of them staring at Cuddy's ass didn't succeed in making them any less gay?

I'm loving The Big Gay Season so far. I hope having new Ducklings doesn't change that.

Well, I've always thought House was bi, so a little ass-watching isn't going to change my position. Besides, I'm all for the occasional threesome ;-)

I'm loving The Big Gay Season so far

I don't seriously expect to see H/W made canon (and not sure I want to, for reasons I know you understand) but it's getting to the point where I am going to be disappointed if we don't get the big gay Wilson storyline. Damn it, *someone* has to come out of this gay!

OH HELLZ YES

Oh god, oh god, that was pure OT3 heaven RIGHT THERE.

There was nothing else in this episode except those two exquisite moments. What?

i know! i was also really impressed with how they did the "i love you" scene. because it wasn't huge and dramatic, and we didn't even see wilson's reaction, but it still had a lot of impact.

i'm rewatching it and it's less ... slashy. because when i watched it on tv, the frame seem to drift toward wilson and then they abruptly cut away to the patient. such was, apparently, only the case on global. because, on the file of the fox broadcast, it really seems more like house is sort of kidding and talking about the pain meds which was not at all how it came across before. hhhm, not sure how i feel about that.

ps. your layout is very distracting.

I'm sure the overt meaning was intended to be House 'loving' Wilson because he's upping his meds. I can live with it, tho. After all, as a slasher I'm used to working around reality ;-)

Wait, what do you mean? It did drift towards Wilson and then cut away to a patient quickly (but not until the pensive piano music had already started!) We did see Wilson's reaction, which was very serious and a very slight head-shake. House was joking and saying it in response to Wilson upping the pain meds, but I think it meant more than that too. House sort of used that as an excuse to say it. And Wilson's reaction was perfect, like he was thinking, "I know. I know you are kidding and want drugs, and I know you mean it too, even though you keep almost dying on me." And the dramatic piano music playing during that moment cannot be ignored. lol

I'm in the same place as you are. Was really getting involved in the whole House's newfound curiosity about the afterlife theme, and then its OMGCANONSLASHYCONFESSIONSOFLOVE!!! And I'm completely distracted the rest of the episode.

And you know, it's so rare that we get so much actual text on tv, I don't really care that I'm bouncing like a complete nut and temporarily blind to everything else that happened in the episode. Starving man at a buffet and all. *g*

I'll get into all the deep stuff when I watch it on download DVD.

It was a couple of hours before I settled down enough to think rationally about the rest of the ep. And now that I have, I'm still happy about the ep :-)

It was a good episode on a number of levels. I was loving it way, way before the declaration of love. :)

I just forgot everything that happened after that...
