i use and read LJ on a daily basis. i do status updates on facebook via twitter, but i still use LJ all the time! and no, i haven;t found an easier wasy of locking posts other than making them ALL friends only (went through that about a year ago)

I too check LJ almost daily, I'm just a lurker. ;) When I do post, it's usually messages that would be too long for Facebook, or things I wouldn't want my entire Facebook friends list seeing.

If Facebook ever lets me restrict something I'm "sharing" to a specific group of people, then I'll probably just use LJ as a music blog. But that could be a while -- Facebook seems to have bad instincts about what its users want.
