do you ever have those days where you wish you could beat your head against a desk and then the desk actually leaps up and hits your forehead for you? yeah. that's today.

my birthday was quite nice. i was able to sleep in till nearly 12 in the afternoon. almost as soon as i woke up angela called and i went down to craig to eat with the gang. we were in craig for nearly half an hour of glorious food and chat. david played with everyone's camera phone. eventually we got bored, i went back to buist and took a shower. the trip to greensboro was amazing. it was just what i needed, especially after the whole ordeal with my mother. props to me for driving my first long distance trip in a car without a break! it took us (there were three other girls in my car) about 4.5 hours to get up there, with only one bathroom break at a ghetto subway/gas station ( Read more... )

my mom had several seizures on wednesday night. we took her to the hospital and she had a CT done. we found an abnormality on the left side of her brain. yesterday morning they gave her an MRI and last night we got the results. there was a tumor on the left side of her brain. there's only a 20%-30% chance that it is malignant... but she has to have ( Read more... )
