Excellent pictures. It reminds me of the time I took pictures of the surrounding area of Kent from my window. Not nearly as attractive, but a memory nonetheless.

A laird (Scottish for "lord") is a wealthy owner of an estate, usually with servants waiting on him and his family. We were in prime laird country, hence we thought we'd be on the lookout for some.

I didn't think they did their own shopping though...
