Just now, I clicked the 'I forgot my password eons ago' link (can you guess why?), entered my screen name, the letters displayed in the security image, and clicked Next. Nice. I'd fire the fool who configured your account to send reminder e-mails to the e-mail address the reminders were about! :-)

Not guilty. I fixed the issue not longer after I wrote about it, and upon looking I realised the interface isn't advanced enough that it contains such a configuration option.

i didn't know i had an AIM Email account. i just tried to access it and got the password wrong, producing an error page. now whenever i try and go to the sign in page it just takes me to the error page again. silly AIM.
