When i read it i pitctured him with sun glasses for some reason. And being dislexic as i am the first time i read the characteristics part i read "white suit jacket and colored dress shirt"... haha... and immediately i saw him having a different color of sun glasses to match each dress shirt... or that could be just what i want.. many many different pairs of colored sunglasses :p
"He believes he's an orphan, but has no proof of such." Isn't this kind of thing usually kind of clean cut?
Also, were there any defining moments or people in Vic's life? If he was an orphan, maybe there was an older child or an adult whom he looked up to? Someone along the line must have taught him the basics of thieving. Thieving can't really be learned by oneself, since bad thieves don't last very long.
The story isn't about Vic Masters' life. Most of this stuff here won't even be in the script. It's just basic background stuff to give you guys more of a feeling for the character. The story will very much be set in the present and go from there. I'm actually not even sure if Vic will be the main character or not.
I wasn't sure really how much detail you wanted to go into. I remembered you being so impressed with all of the background that was done on Vincent's character from collateral, even if a lot of it was never revealed, nor did it have any direct bearing on the film. If he's not going to be a major player, then details like those probably aren't necessary. Though they could never hurt.
