Today I killed the Evil Club Empire forums.

The software is still running and posts made since the beginning of this year are still there but the 7 years of history are gone.

Why'd you do that?

Long story short... they take up too much space on the server and everytime I want to upload new photos or banners or whatever the server is always full. There's 8+ years of data there and the software auto-caches itself so it ends up taking double the space and there's no way to stop it from cacheing itself (believe me, i checked).

That and the fact that no one ever visits them anymore.

Lemme know if you ever want to put the archives somewhere. I got mad disk space on my server. :)

Sort-of. You may have noticed that the individual forums were collapsed into one "Evil Club Empire" forum. Before I did that I backed everything up so I have the data but it's not particularly useful unless you have the software running on a server.
