So I was walking home from the grocery store yesterday and was detoured by a red, Estate Sale sign. Estate sales are both interesting to me, and sad. These are usually held in the homes of older folks so I am on the lookout for pipes (& pipe stuff), watches, pocketknives and the other accessories of manliness. On Comic Book Men one of the guys referred to a seller of memorabilia as as a shim sham man. I think he meant to say flim flam man or shifty or something and it came out as a mashup.

I like the phrase and want to incorporate it into everyday speech.

Took the walk down to Fairhaven via the trail. Took a fall towards the beginning of the walk, got some ice up my kilt and down my collar but otherwise no harm came from the tumble.

Now I head home to cut some wood and clean some house...
