Well, he was bringing his handcufs with him in case he had to do any vigilante-style justice stuff, but they got confiscated at the airport. So he whined about it so much, Duncan buys him a new pair. But the only ones he can find are pink and fuzzy.

This made me sigh. And sighing is a beautiful beautiful thing, when reading a beautiful beautiful fic. The words and imagery are beautiful and you can really revel in the fact that Duncan sincerely loves being a father. Just the thought of him as a single dad is just.....sigh inspiring.
Just gorgeous. And I loved Lamb's role and found it realistic that Veronica wouldn't have come herself. It's just gorgeous, no other words to describe it. And I loved Duncan's memories of Lilly, Meg and Veronica and though it in character for him to categorize them into good, vibrant and strong. And I love your Lilly. She seems...just perfect.

Oh, I loved this. Duncan's memories of each woman in his life were wonderful because even though they were simply stated, they were very accurate. And the description of his routine when it comes to Lilly because you can just tell how much he loves her and loves being a father.

Lamb was very in character, with his constant smirk which only slipped once at the mention of Veronica...which is, again, in character. ^_^ I really like that you had Veronica and Lamb get together because while they're not a pairing I really read too much of, I think in the future, it could be something that could happen. And this line:

“Hey, whatever man. I’m at a loss to explain it myself most of the time, “ Lamb says, and he’s smirking again, but it’s different somehow.

That line was so very Lamb. You really did a great job with this. Completely brought a smile to my face.

...is it too much to hope for a sequel of some sort? *cough*Spain*cough*

Er...in my mind, that was subtle. *g*

Hee. Subtle to the max! And that's already my second request, so I may toy with it.

I've been writing Lambfic for fanfic100, and even though Veronica appears a lot, they're just friendlyish in my fics. I totally 'ship them, but have trouble writing them all coupley, so this was totally just me indulging - like, hey, they're together, and I don't have to explain why so yay!
