I have found out that my best thinking is done during the most inopportune times. While driving, amid all the singing I do, I find that I get into some deep thinking. oh my gosh i totally hear you on this one. any time i get an idea or some thought i want to remember, it's the worst time to write it down...it sucks!

someone once told me (i love saying that when it's true) that your best writing is often done when paper and pen are inaccessible.

Unfortunately...the person that told you that was full of shit. How can it be your best writing, if you didn't write it down in the first place?! Those kinds of quotes are rediculous and must be stopped.
