So it's a dreary London afternoon. Dunnett's been to his publisher for a meeting about advances, and comes home somewhat earlier than he'd planned. He's in a good mood- but who knows how long that'll last.
"Well hello there. Heavens, lunch? You're spoiling me..." He closes the door, and heads for the kitchen. "And what's your day been like, then?" he asks as he perches on the counter.
"Still, it's very kind of you. Thanks." A hug from behind for the chef- and a small smooch on the cheek. "So did you watch the meeting, or shall I bore you with talking about the fine points of Spanish-language contracts."
