5 months into work
It's been almost 5 months since I've started working full-time. Many have changed over these past few months at work. I've grown to be a little tougher, both mentally and emotionally. More workload & responsibilities have been cast on me and I'm starting to feel the tense pressure. Not forgetting the expectation that my mentors are harping on. ( Read more... ) -

All thanks to boss I get to have free lunch today at Ichiban Sushi! Colleagues are nice but of course can't run away from the office politics. As a newcomer, I'll just sit in and listen. Today unofficially marks the day that I got employed first time for a full-time position! Technically I am employed, but still yet to read up on the contract and sign it. After almost a month away from exams and dissertation finally submitted last week, I can officially pronounce myself an unemployed! At least a status update from student to unemployed. Heh! What?! Yasminne Cheng is replaced by a new host on Love Songs and Yaz is hosting the Lunchbreak now!!! No wonder, at times when I'm driving these few days I was thinking to myself, how come Yaz's voice changed. I thought it was a temporary thing. So she's replaced. Most friends of mine around the age of 21-25 are all planning to get a house by BTO with their boyfriend/girlfriend, or even moving out from their family and to live on their own by getting a rented house. First day of last module!
Tomorrow marks the last module of my journey as a University student, 2 weeks to be exact and then 2 days of exam in late February. SCM 2011
This is my 2nd time running for the 10km Standard Chartered competitive race and I got to thank God for my perseverance as well as the good weather and route. Last year's steep bridge towards MBS and the last lap from F1 pit to Padang almost killed me I swear. This year was the opposite, started out with the F1 put instead.
