Well... as of tomorrow it will be one month away from the wedding. Not all the silly little invitations have gone out yet.. (grr..) and we still don't have a cake. It's so frustrating to read all these studies about thyroids and the endocrine system, I know just enough to barely understand it - while missing the details because I don't know the medical definitions. Well - in addition to rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, chronic back problems, bladder problems (TMI much? ;) a weak immune system... my mom now has hypothyroidism. Which means her thyroids have given out. Which means, she was days away from a complete shutdown of her system, which means she is now on yet another set of pills for the rest of her life ( Read more... )
