Ooooooh!

I finally found a job that really really really makes me want to apply for it. Fortunately, I have a little over a week to decide if I want to stay in Ohio that bad or explore another state?

Off to ponder.

If it's going to make you happy if you get it, and allow you to get ahead, I'd say go for it. Plus, if you apply, and it doesn't work out, bear it out unti you find something else. The economy isn't going to get better for a while, so be happy in what you do.

I know. I think the worst I could do is apply. I'll work on believing myself as time goes on.

Amy, you know your stuff, and you've got a helluva lot to offer to organizations. They're not going to know unless you apply. You're a smart, funny, hardworking and diligent lassie, and deserve to get a great job and start getting ahead.

Apply. But consider that the worst that you can do is accept the job when they offer it to you :)

Positive thinking and all that jazz ;)

I hate to say this - because it would mean not seeing you -

but didn't you already answer your own question -

"that really really really makes me want to apply for it" THE TRIPLE REALLY makes all the difference, Amy. ;)

Well, the good news for you is that this job is in Ohio, I just would be assigned wherever they choose to assign me. I have decided though that I need to be willing to go elsewhere too in case this bottoms out (which is feasible as I know I'll be up against hundreds of others).
