So.....facebook. In my opinion (for whatever it's 2 cents it worth) - is a place to express how to feel. A place that isn't really meant to be professional. A place where, if you wanna tell someone to fuck off in your status, then you really shouldn't feel like you have to hold back

That is insane. It's what happens though. Professional and personal interests always get mixed up, whether it's work, or school, or something else. It's bullshit that we have to hide our honesty behind false pretenses and formalities, but that's how the world works. Good luck with your situation, hopefully they realize how irrational they're being.
