To tell you the truth, i have this pounding headache so i wasn't even going to read this, but i got past the first paragraph and i thought it was me who wrote that. it makes perfect sense. so many people are so goddamned judgemental. every typical stereotype "earns" it's place and that really is a bunch of bullshit. especially with parents. your date walks up to the door with colourful hair in a mohawk or something and a black t-shirt your parents become sceptical and immediately put up some sort of guard, but if the date who walks up is in dockers and a fucking golf sweater he is immediately welcomed.and notice how the asshole even in movies always turns out to be that very same asshole with the dockers and golf sweater.

pardon my rambling. nice entry.

Although this may be true, there are many people who aren't as fortunate as some of us and very rude, and some with a lot of money and the nicest people you could know. The rich man you delivered to was rude because his money, considering he said that comment....except all of you are judging just like he did about trailer trash, by saying "rich snobs", or thinking that all people with money aren't grateful or they are rude. As for the comment about the parents, not all of them are like that, and if they do think that way about a certain boyfriend's style, they are just looking out for you and are just seeing something they're not used to, so they are skeptical. If you have parents that wont even try and get to know him JUST because of his style, then I'm sorry, they're ignorant and judgemental, but i hate when teens categorize parents as the worst part of their lives or that they always so such bad things or don't "understand".

that is true, but from what i have experienced that is how my parents are. i know that some "less fortunate" people are jerks, but yeah taht's my opinion. i don't think my parents are the worst thing in the world. please do not put words into my mouth. thank you for your opinion.

Sad part is, more and more people seem to be turning to ignorance more often.
The numbers are rising methinks.

thank you for the post it made me really take a look at how i take for granted just being able to get up in the morning knowing i will have food and a place to live. really puts stuff in perspective. people need to learn that the one thing we all need more than anything is a little love and caring.

And I wonder why everyone strives for more money...Less fortunate people give all they have, and I know what from my friend who isnt well off at all, but her family is very very giving. But it seems the mor we take...well the less we give.

And as for status, I feel bad for people that care so much about materialism to actually degrade those who dont, its not like their harming anyone.

Heh, only in America.
