I don't know that I "decided" to have children, it's just something I've wanted as long as I can remember. I've always wanted to be a mother, ever since I learned about pregnancy and motherhood. I can remember being a young child and thinking, "I want to be a mama some day."

This is pretty much exactly my reasons/thoughts as well. It just was always there.

I think Amanda and I always knew we wanted to have kids. I've always envisioned having a family and being a parent. A lot of our connection was around kids and nurturing, we've always taken care of other kids, done work together that involved taking care of others, it just has always been a part of our interests and our relationship. I'm not sure "why" that is beyond that.
