so all of you who think emo is bad can go to hell. i love hardcore music as much as the next kid but in this area its only a handful so thats a bad saying. i do like hardcore but i have that inner movement, no not in my bouls, when i listen to emo. fuck all this all they do is cry about their shit, hey everyones gotta let it out, and through music

You realize that I am way more emo that hardcore. I don't know if you thought it was me changing the band to hardcore..... they all wanted to be harder. I myself, TOTALLY dig what you guys are doing, and that is what I would like to do, someday. I write all of my songs in an EMO/INDIE sense.... I want to try to keep the band at an even balance between screamo and emo. Don't really want to go hardcore. :) Thanks for your input though bro........ KEEP YOUR STUFF GOING because I'm anticipating hearing it..... :D

I realize that the bands that have been coming to play in the Lemars area have been mostly in the Hardcore genre but I don't feel that it is because that is what we are trying to do. At this early beginning of a music scene it basically is just bands trying to get shows to play. Sadly for the emo kids, or punk, hip-hop or whatever kind of music fans there is not a abundance of bands that are willing to play. Except for the hardcore bands that we have been lucky enough to come. If you feel there is a need for emo or whatever bands to come to the area don't just feel bad that we aren't finding any. Take it upon yourself and find/book bands and make shows, because variety as you said is lacking in the Lemars scene. Because when you really think about it there is only three bands in the Lemars High School scene FOR TODAY which is officially from SC Everlasting embers(screamo) and THINGS WORTH WISHING. But yeah anyway I personally like the music that we create in FOR TODAY and i'm not playing hardcore music for the image or just to be

whoa i wasnt trying to put anyone down or make any hard statements at anything in particular it just felt like to me that thats all that was happening and id like to see a little spice in the lemars scenes life. im sure that there are emo bands that would like to play around here but since hardcore is what youre into thats what you looked for to play around or whatever. doesnt matter. but i was just stating my opinion.

It's not that you guys aren't finding any emo bands it's that you guys aren't trying to find any (not meant to sound like dick there)In Le Mars you guys are the scene what you guys do is what everyone is going to do cause they don't know there is anything else, that's why we are doing what we're doing. Not trying to put your guy's music\scene down in anyway cause I love you guys. So keep doing what you're doing but chris wasn't bashing you guys and saying you're in it just for the image, but there are some people doing things just to fit in the scene.
