Bleh. The last couple days have sucked.
One annoyance has been contracting my annual upper respiratory infection. I thought I might avoid it this year. I'm mostly back to normal but still need Ricola to get through the day/night. I'm tired of the taste, but more tired of coughing.
New tires right before Christmas also sucks. (
Cut for length and grump factor... )

For reference, we always get our tires at discount tire. They do carry nice brands and we've gone through quite a few tires on both the truck and car living in the desert. Their replacement policy is faboo.

I've liked Discount the times I've used them. But Firestone is competitively priced and much more convenient since Discount doesn't have any stores near the U.
I do always opt for the lifetime road hazard coverage when I can. The problem is that these tires were still the originals from the dealership. Ah well, with the one that got punctured at Collegium, it means we're up to 3/4 covered now. :-p

Closest one is up oracle near prince and that isn't very convenient.

I hug you. I hug you lots. I hug you lots more AT ESTRELLA.
I also miss Mingo Feasts. There was one event where I showed up, went into the kitchen, and ended up never even leaving the kitchen long enough to garb up. It was the place to be. Sigh!

And yeah, I tend to loathe most Feasts. Between Mingo and Ursus, they just about ruined me. Anything less and I'm just unimpressed, bored and usually going out to get something better afterwards. So I just don't go to Feasts much. Maybe to say hi and hit Court, but bailing on the food part.
(There's also that little thing where BTY likes to have pork as a main course, for that "boar" thing or something. And when you have an extreme aversion to pork... it doesn't make sense to pay a bunch for a Feast when you aren't going to eat 1/3 of it.)
Loves!

I think I've gotten kind of spoiled -- Mingo feasts, College of Brymstonne everything, and we have some majorly insane cooks & feast stewards here in the East that I have to give major, major props to. I think I've been to one feast that I would rate as "okay, but nothing special". No feast has ranked below that, and most have been significantly above. Spoiled rotten, I am.
