May have to usurp those 40k plans...still lots of sewing going on in the sweatshop. Though we're making good progress so may be able to take a night off tomorrow to geek out in ways other than fabric.

I figured the plans for Friday were fluid. Basically, that you guys were going to flake out on one thing or the other depending on how much you got done last night. :-p How's it looking today?

definitely up for 40k tonight. Last night was markedly less productive and a night away from fabric will be a good thing.

:-) Glad you enjoyed. I had the need to rant about it a bit. My boss means well, but sometimes... I just keep telling myself that she means well. And the minion's pretty okay and even thinks it's awesome that I call her "The Minion". I've already got her saying "It's all good."

Mmmm... duly noted. Tara/amise is taking us as a general celebration of her new job and Sara in grad school. Though I suspect the real reason is the honey cardamon ice cream...

Well, minions are a time invenstment- and her lack of experience is a good thing if shes a fast learner- means she doesnt have a bunch of bad habits that she justifies with 'But in my class we do it like that...'

And I have a supply of migraine meds again, so if sunday opens up and you want to get some 40k and general catching up fitted in lemme know :)

Turns out she's not even going to school for computers or anything. She's doing East Asian Studies and wants to become an English teacher in Japan. But yeah, it is kinda nice. The last one knew just enough to think he knew what he was doing... this one at least understands that she knows not.

Checked with Sara and Sunday's totally free and open. You're welcome to drop by any time. We can do something friendly to get a sense of 5th (1750 vs my Chaos) or I can test a concept for Ard Boyz (2500 Eldar), your call. We could also just hang out and chat...
