spent the weekend at Kasey's house which was good... until I got a call this morning from my mom. she called to tell me that Dary had died of heart failure that morning while in NC visiting her aunt. I basically broke down crying and have been crying periodically all day... it's basically been a hard day.

RIP Dary Jacob... you are loved and missed

I forgot that working for hours on end makes your feet hurt a lot. especially when every parent who didn't go out shopping before is now asking you a bajillion questions and asking you why you don't carry a certain toy... to those parents: don't be slackers! get the presents earlier than 2 days before christmas!

work was... interesting. crazy parents and their last minute shopping! my favorite is some parents come in with their children to buy their children's presents and try and be really subtle about it.
