I'm still here. I still pop in and every now and again but with everything going on at work (drama), contest prep (45 days out), vacation plans (Fleeing the country for a week with SO/GF), attempting to write (writer's block lately), training and everything else (those other social media sites), I just don't get on here much ( Read more... ) -

Armour
I'm standing by dispatch, at work this morning - in my uniform (shirt & BDUs), waiting to pick-up the paperwork for my tour. When Leo (an EMT) looks at me and asks, astounded: "Are you wearing body armor?"
"No..."
It would seem wearing my uniform shirt fully tucked in makes me look like an action figure. -

V-Day pt. 2
Couldn't find a liquor store that was open late, carried Bushmills, that was remotely affordable or (not that I'm back home) anything to watch on the internet. Buying myself dinner this Firday (everything was booked for this weekend.) I hate this holiday.
