 So this week,

I won a taco eating contest by eating 26 50-cent tacos at the Whig, cleared out about 12 acres of invasive species out of my chosen national park, caught birds in mist nets and weighed, measured, examined and banded them, listened to terrible karaoke, watched some awesome movies, made preliminary arrangements to rent a hybrid for next ( Read more... )

i'll give you that hug instead; :::HUG!:::

i watched several movies, most of which i can't remember the names of, but one that i watched was boondock saints, which was fun, if slightly less than believable.

I did enjoy the whole mist netting/bbanding stuff; and it is rather difficult getting birds out of that netting! Cardinals bite hard!!!

Hello my dear friend in nature. What a wonderful thing to know that two spirits can still converse with one another. *sighs deeply* Friendship is a beautiful thing.

My Earth Day was exceptional. Our campaign for greener rooftops is going wonderfully with the help of our dear friend Wayne and has kept us wonderfully busy! Two of our dear friends have joined together in marriage, and two more are expecting a little bundle of joy. And we have found a coffee table from our secondhand store a new home with two natural spirits. It fills my soul with joy. I trust you experienced the same.

Congratulations on your taco contest. Vegetarian tacos, I do hope! And how is the rest of nature treating you, my dear friend? Remember these words when you may be down: brick walls and other obstacles cannot encage a freespirit!

It's great to hear that your friends are doing well and becoming closer to one anothyr. In a month, I’m going to be "the bride's best man" in my sister’s very unconventional wedding. It sounds fun!

All of my tacos were vegetarian; only the majority of my opponents' were. This may have contributed to my relatively easy win, or it could have been the powers of my mind-boggling stomach.

Out of curiosity, what role are you playing in this green rooftops campaign? did you just sign a petition and get others to do the same, or have you take a much more active role in this? I am imagining that this campaign revolves around the promotion of solar panels on homes and businesses... is this correct?
